About Us
EarlyCare Philosophy
EarlyCare is privately owned and operated and has the personal involvement of the owner and Managing Director. At EarlyCare, we realise that staff are the key to success and to this end we acknowledge the particular characteristics of the child care employee and recognise the importance of having an open working relationship with employees within our organisation. We understand that child care and early learning is a people business and is more than just facilities. While these are important, it is the relationship between families, their children and the individual centre staff that ultimately creates the environment for successful child care and early learning objectives to be met. It is this principal that our philosophies, operational management systems and guidelines use as a foundation.
- Our Organisational Philosophy is to provide a safe and stimulating environment with quality care as a priority. We respect the right of all people to use our centres including but not limited to those with disabilities, non English speaking background and Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders.
- Our Organisational Goal is to be an effective and highly regarded parent support organisation where we add value to parents and guardians lives by assisting them in their task to cope with the demands of balancing their family, personal and parental tasks.
- Our Organisational Aim is to acknowledge and empower our management and centre staff with knowledge and skills to implement best child care and early learning practices and the ability to support parent and community needs.
- As a boutique child care operator, we are flexible in our approach and this allows us to adapt each centre to the specific community and parental needs.
- Our Centre Based Philosophy is to provide the best possible care and appropriate education and life skill development for children. This is achieved by being flexible and providing a caring, loving and nurturing teaching environment for all children.
The staff at our child care centres aim to recognise each child as an individual within the context of his/her family and to foster this by planning and programming so that each child can engage in a variety of interesting and worthwhile experiences. Experiences that are appropriate for his/her present level of development in the following areas - intellectual, social, emotional and physical. To ensure the highest quality of care we encourage and welcome a high level of communication among staff, children, parents/guardians and management. This all takes place in a homely, safe and nurturing environment where we take pride in the personal touch. Whilst we appreciate parent’s lead busy lives, we encourage parental involvement at all times.
